CBKA Beekeeping Courses

Introduction to Beekeeping

This course will run on Saturday mornings in Middlesbrough Bowling club (TS5 5QL), for 8 weeks from Saturday, March 9. You will also be allocated a tutor who will lead you through the practical parts of the syllabus at their apiary, probably with another one or two participants from the conclusion of the Saturday morning sessions. The cost of the course includes annual membership of CBKA and a beekeeping book. Cost £128. There is also the opportunity to borrow a beesuit for the course (deposit of £30 payable).

We will also be running a beekeeping Taster Day at the end of September (see below). This aims to provide experience of handling bees and information on the costs, practicalities and time considerations involved. It is not designed to equip students to become beekeepers.
